Corrugated cardboard & packing paper

Not every product needs lots of protective packaging. Quite often, a sheet of corrugated board or a layer of packing paper is all it takes to keep products separated, protect surfaces and help everything arrive in good condition.

You don’t need complicated packaging to keep products protected. Quite often, it’s the everyday products that do the hard work. Whether you’re wrapping products, separating items in a box or protecting layers on a pallet, we’ll help you choose the right option for the job.

Should I use corrugated rolls, sheets or packing paper?

One of the first things we’ll ask is what you’re trying to achieve. Are you wrapping products? Separating them in a box? Protecting layers on a pallet? Once we’ve learnt a little more about how you’re packing, recommending the right product becomes much easier.

    Our Approach

Good packaging starts with asking the right questions

One thing we’ve learnt over the years is that packaging doesn’t have to be complicated to work well. Quite often, it’s the simplest products that solve the biggest headaches. A sheet of corrugated board between products, a layer of kraft paper around a delicate finish or a roll of corrugated cardboard cut to size can be all it takes to prevent damage in the first place.

That’s why we’ll always start by learning what you’re packing, how it’s being handled and what you’re trying to achieve before recommending anything. If a simple sheet of corrugated board does the job, that’s exactly what we’ll recommend.

    Paper-based packaging

    Thinking about reducing plastic?

We’re having this conversation more and more with customers. Some are looking to reduce plastic packaging altogether, while others just want to see where paper could work instead. There’s rarely a one-size-fits-all answer, and that’s absolutely fine.

We’ll talk through what you’re packing, how it’s being shipped and what level of protection it needs. Sometimes corrugated cardboard or packing paper is a great alternative. Sometimes plastic is still the most suitable choice. Our job is to help you find the right balance, not simply steer you in one direction.

If you’re looking to go a step further, we can also help you explore paper-based cushioning and protective packaging systems from Ranpak, giving you even more ways to reduce plastic across your packing operation.
